New Zealand is well known for its beautiful landscape and stunning flora and fauna. To help protect this valuable resource Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (SWNZ) was established. This is an industry initiative, which started in 1995, directed through New Zealand Winegrowers (NZWG). The initiative was adopted by growers from all the grape growing regions and in 2002 moved to include wineries as well.
We care passionately about New Zealand as well as the global community, and are proud to be 100% sustainably accredited.
More information on the Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand can be found at SWNZ
